COPYRIGHT-USAGE

 

-The client understands that the comissioned work remains property of the artist including the rights to distribution.
 

This DOESN'T mean the artist will claim any ownership of the character(s) portrayed, however  she  will retain all copyright ownership of the artwork itself. 
 

-The client understands the comissioned piece is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. It must NOT be Re-sold. It must NOT be printed, distributed or used by the client for commercial purposes.
 

-The client CAN however display it on his/her social network or website.  Proper credit to the artist is appreciated and necessary.  Informing the artist about the exhibit is not necessary .
 

-The client (only) can crop or resize the image to use on icons, avatars or wallpapers for non-commercial use but shall not alter the artwork itself.
 

-The artist WON'T sell the artwork copyright to another party. 
 

-The artist CAN use the image or parts of it  to advertise herself or her artwork.
 

-The artist CAN post the image as part of her portfolio in her social networks and/or website,

-The image can remain out of public sight by client's request, however an extra fee will be applied (wich will be discussed between the artist and the client)

 

 

DELIVERY

 

-Deadlines are usually set to be completed within a 30 working days period, but this can be extended even to 40 working days depending on the complexity of the artwork/pieces being worked on by the Artist at that time.

 

-The client understands only digital files of the artwork will be delivered. NOT physical copies.

 

-The client understand PSD/LAYERED copies of the artwork WON'T be delivered and therefore shall be NOT asked for.  

 

-The artist will provide a high resolution file, however, Higest/original file size WILL NOT be granted unless an extra fee is paid (to be discussed by both parties).

 

-After the finished artwork is sent to the client, only he/her is responsible of its care and safe storage, the artist will not send another copy of the file after a 3 month period of its first delivery.

 

 

 

 

ARTWORK PROGRESS (WIPS)

&  COMMUNICATION

 

 

--The artist shall be responsible of keeping the client updated by emailing progress periodically.

 

-The client understands his/her artwork might not be the only one the artist is working on at the time and therefore shall not harrass the artist into updating more than twice a week.

 

 -The client understands that once a WIP is sent it must be either approved  or asked for revision in the client's response email. An extra fee will be asked if changes are requested outside the timeframe.

 

-The client is responsible to deliver all reference material he/she might feel the artist will need. If the client has specific requests he or she must provide enough photos or images to make a clear example (.ZIP or .RAR files are appreciated). Written only descriptions have a very limited frame for changes due to the fact that everyone's imagination is different. The artist shall not be asked for  any  free of charge change in this case.

 

-The artist will follow instructions as is, some minor changes may come necessary due to possible different interpretations but these wont have any extra cost as long as the artist is the one missinterpretating. If the client changes mind after the sketch is approved and wants to add, take away or modify parts of the comission this will generate an extra cost.

 

-Communication shall be clear and respectful at any moment, please note this doesn't mean the client must act solemn with the artist, open and friendly dialogue is always appreciated and even encouraged.

 

-The client and the artist shall always communicate via email. Skype or similar forms of communication won't be accepted to avoid  misinterpretations. All comission issues must be adressed in text form.

 

 

 

PAYMENT

 

-The client agrees to pay FULL UPFRONT (prior sketching) Exeptions can be made if the Artist chooses it/suggests it

 

-The client (new or frequent) shall NEVER request the artist to pay in installments. Exeptions can be made if the Artist chooses it/suggests it.

 

-The client (new or frequent) will not ask the artist for discounts, regarding of the amount of

comissions asked (current or previous) If the client's budget is lower than the comission price given adjustments in the artwork can of course be made to fit.

 

-The client agrees to pay by PAYPAL or  WISE in  US DOLLARS or EURO currency.

 

-The client agrees to cover Paypal fee. Any price quote given is for the Artwork only, . If the client was not notified by the time the payment is asked the Client can safely assume paypal fee has already been added. 

 

-Full Refunds will only be made if the comission is cancelled by the artist. Once payment is done refunds WILL NOT be granted.

 

-Any comission cancelling shall be made BEFORE payment.

 

-Payment Invoices with full amount will be sent by the artist.
